14th Meeting of the Improvement of Business Environment and Investment Working Group between Japan and Qatar

On July 29, the 14th Meeting of the Improvement of Business Environment and Investment Working Group between Japan and Qatar was held online.

The meeting was attended by Mr. FUNATSU Ryuichi, Director of the Second Middle East Division, Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry from the Japanese side, and Mr. Saleh Abdullah Al-Mana, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation and Trade Agreements, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Qatar Investment Authority from the Qatari side. The participants discussed the promising areas and ways for expanding trade and investment between Japan and Qatar.
